Waiting•6 minutes
When Waiting Feels Empty
Waiting can become a place of formation instead of wasted time.
Isaiah 40:31Biblical waiting is not passive resignation. It is active trust that refuses to manufacture an answer at the cost of faithfulness.
Delay exposes what we reach for when results do not come quickly. It can deepen prayer, reveal unhealthy attachments, and teach endurance that instant answers never develop.
God may be doing important work in you while you are focused on the work you want done around you.
Reflect
What might faithful, active waiting look like in your present delay?
A prayer for today
“Lord, renew my strength in this waiting and form patience without letting hope grow cold.”
